UkeBox: Interactive Object Design

UkeBox is a re-imagined, interactive music box with a songbook accompaniment that I designed and constructed. The interior lid of the object is inscribed with the ukulele chords that are needed to play the song of the box. These chords are written in the songbook with the lyrics. On the other side of the book is a short history of the music box that inspired the ukeBox, as well as a diagram of how to use the playback device in the smaller compartment of the box. The musical device projects the melody that the user can strum along to. I used a computer program to write and record the music. Below is also an animated ad.
