GMoA 75th Anniversary
For the Georgia Museum of Art’s seventy-fifth anniversary, I created an event concept, logo and design system, and a poster triptych application. My concept is “75 years of expanding horizons.” Expansion can be interpreted creatively, intellectually, and socially. The three posters are visually connected when displayed side by side, but they can also stand alone. This reinforces the concept of expansion. The space between the posters highlights that concept as well by imitating the fractured numbers. Meandering lines further expand the numbers while functioning as celebratory gold party streamers.
