Fortepiano

Fortepiano is a sharp, modern sans serif typeface based on the form and function of keys on a piano. The high contrast strokes are inspired by the alternating black and white of the keys. The rectangular structure of the letters and high x-height illustrates an elegant shape and length. Emphasis on the ascenders and descenders emulates the pressing of piano keys, evoking a feeling of movement.
